Avanti Foods is owned by the Linley and Zueger families.
Robert Linley attended the University of Wisconsin and received his Wisconsin Cheesemakers License in 1952. He continued making cheese until he moved to Walnut. In 1962, he bought into Avanti Foods as the Pizza Factory started up.
Anton Zueger attended a three-year apprenticeship as a cheese maker in Switzerland. He began his cheesemaking career in Wisconsin and eventually made his way to Walnut where he purchased the Walnut Cheese Factory in 1955.
Through their dedication to hard work, quality, and perseverance, Avanti Foods has become a thriving business. Today we are proud to continue that commitment.
